Community: Campaigns

VSO UK has run some incredibly successful campaigns over the past few years. From persuading Governments to invest in primary education for all to making sure they tackle inequality for women and girls, our campaigners make a difference.

This year with our Godmothers campaign we’ve been calling on the UK Government to get behind the new agency UN Women,  with your help we ensured that they were the second highest donor. Dozens of campaigners came to Westminster to meet their MPs, whilst others joined us for a debate in Parliament with Andrew Mitchell MP, Harriet Harman MP and the international Head of UN Women Michelle Bachelet .
